UWA Tavern

The UWA Tavern (or "The Tav") established in 1975, is an iconic venue situated on the grounds of the University of Western Australia. A stone's throw from the scenic Matilda Bay, this historic building offers a versatile space suited for a range of events - engagement parties, birthdays, networking events, sundowners and more!

Hackett Hall

Hackett Hall is a stunning heritage venue with breathtaking views of the rose gardens, lush lawns and the iconic Winthrop Hall. Perfect venue for breakfasts, high tea, morning tea or engagement parties. 

Note: Hackett Hall operates as a cafe on Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm.

Hackett Courtyard

Hackett Courtyard, gracefully tucked beside the historic Hackett Hall, radiates charm and warmth. Creating a gracious and elegant sanctuary.

Its intimate outdoor setting invites guests to gather, linger and celebrate in style. Perfect for small-scale events.

The Refectory

The Guild Refectory (fondly known as the Ref), located right next to Matilda Bay, is a versatile space with minimalist design making it ideal for quiz nights, small exhibitions and more.

Note: The Refectory is an operational Food Court, open from Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm.

Function Rooms

Sue Boyd, May Tannock & Acorn Rooms are located above the Guild Refectory and are the perfect small rooms for up to 75 guests per room.

Overlooking the Oak Lawn from a spacious balcony, these meeting rooms are ideal for workshops and networking events. Acorn Room overlooks the beautiful Matilda Bay.
